Not so old, old friends
Hey guys... got to spend some good time with KC last night. For our international / non grahamstown readers KC is one of the lovely powerful ladies of the 4 Durban Street Digs of 2004.
She also went on the Chrysalis thingy that I went on a couple of weeks ago and there was a Chrysalis reunion type event last night in Benoni (where KC lives). So we hooked up so that I could get directions and headed off to the venue. Lots of food etc. It was great. After much socialising we headed back to KC's place for some Vanilla flavoured hot chocolate. After we had preached up a storm with each other till the early hours of the morning I decided to leave back for Springs.
This morning started early... I headed off to another churches youth group to do a presentation on boiler rooms. We (me & my brothers) then prepared a lovely lunch for my mom for mothers day.
I then prepared for youth. It was great. I preached the gospel. The whole gospel and nothing but the gospel. It was very well articulated.
Wow... the guys are really responding... not in the 100's (yet) but every week over the last couple of weeks there has always been at least one person whose life has been changed. Awesome. This was the first time I actually preached the gospel to a crowd.
I have said it once... I'll say it again... there is no greater joy than speaking about the resurrection power of Christ. The gospel's power is like nothing else. Oh well... before I start babbling on... I think I will end here and go to bed.
Busy week ahead... please pray... got a lot of work on my project that I need to get done... I am running slightly behind schedule.
