5 Years Today!!!
Happy re-birthday to me!!!
Well today marks 5 years since I died and was reborn of the spirit of God. 5 years of being changed and making a difference. 5 years of happening to life instead of life happening to me. 5 years of allowing God to constantly challenge my perceptions and paradigms. 5 years since I was suicidal. 5 years since I stopped living for myself. 5 years since I met the person of love, faithfulness, justice, kindness and righteousness. 5 years of learning to rely on God instead of myself. 5 years of joy and happiness. 5 years of meeting the kinds of people that truly are inspirational, not because of what they say but because of actions that correspond. 5 years of going against the grain of society. 5 years of growing in contentment. 5 years of learning who I really am. 5 years of celebrating the unconditional love of my God. 5 years of learning not to objectify woman. 5 years of reclaiming my purity. 5 years of taking back 18 years of death. 5 years of building up instead of breaking down my country. 5 years since I decided to pick up a guitar. 5 years of seeing lives changed, people healed, demons flee and darkness quake before me. 5 years of coming to terms with the grace of God that I don't deserve. 5 years of seeing God reach into the darkest of hearts and change them into icons of beauty, compassion and inspiration.
Agh... and it has just began... I still have eternity set before me... and it just keeps getting better. The love and grace of my savior is infinte just as is the beauty of His majesty.
Anyway... hope you all have a splendid day today. I'm going to go watch a spoof of Macbeth tonight that is being put on at my old high school. It should be really funny since the teachers are doing it.
