INTERNET

Hey everyone...

We just got ADSL installed at home... that means I will now be able to
update more often again. With less pain (because of the extra speed)
and with photos once again (because I get to use my computer).

Recent news: hmmmm there is a lot.

I got to preach a few weeks ago at a local youth group. It went pretty
well for a debut preach. I did record myself... it turns out that I
say OK a lot when I preach. hmmm got to work on that.

Apart from that one of my prayers have been answered quite nicely.

I have had great moments so far to develop friendships with people who
are not white. Something which is very difficult to do this side of
Jo'burg. For 2 reasons. 1 because of white friends who are racist. 2
because of cultural differences. Well... God sorted me out on the
cultural side long time ago. The former just needed some prayer in
advance.

I am now also learning 2 new languages. Zulu and Tswana. Hopefully I
will continue with them.

I can say the following in both languages.
Hello.
How are You.
I'm OK
It is time to go.
and most importantly: It is time for food.

Already just the few words I picked up from worship songs in
Grahamstown have helped me get favour with the people I am working
with.

Oh yes... I got a temporary job. If your a statistician you might know
what I am talking about. I am helping conduct R&R (Repeatability and
Reproduceability) Assesments of the staff at Seton S.A. (an
international tannery that supplies leather to BMW, AUDI, MERC and
many others.)

Got to go... I am currently House sitting for some family friends. Got
to go and make sure that the 1 cat, 2 birds and 55 Yorkshire Terriers
are all happy.

Have a great day
